  • Chuck Clark Scariest ride of the whole year today.... Did the Mayor's Hike Bike ride. People zigzagging everywhere. Saw some kid riding across the double yellows and got clipped by another rider. Gonna have some nasty trail rash. Luckily, he had a helmet unlike the dozens who didn't, yet were required to.

  • Chuck Clark Last minute Cherokee trail crew tomorrow (Wednesday) between 5-7 p.m.. Meet where you cross Maple Rd going from the Bird Sanctuary trail onto the the Kymba Downhill . We will be patching at the top of the hill, some corridor clearing and deberming and maybe even look at the hairpin switchback on cochran hill (after the long straight decline where the 180 degree turn is so awkward and slow). Bring gloves and H20. I will be riding possibly before and/or after depending on work.

  • Chuck Clark Different areas of Louisville received widely different rainfalls yesterday afternoon. If anyone has a Cherosenekee status today, please reply. Thanks!

  • Chuck Clark Cherosenakee riders: The blowdown on the far side of the golf course loop has been cleared. The corridor is a little tight at beginning and end, but the middle has been cleared very well. Read Cherokee No-Net Trail Crew for details.
