"The Fig" - a 12-hour adventure race through and around the Red River Gorge - is returning for its 6th annual running on Saturday, November 1, 2008!! If you thought riding the roads through the Gorge was a scenic experience, just wait until you go off-road! This adventure race challenges soloists and teams of 2/3/4 to mountain bike, paddle, trek, rappel, and navigate their way to various remote checkpoints in a test of grit and endurance.
