    I am in my 50's and decided to get into biking somewhat .  Is the Red River George a good place for someone like me ?

Well...it depends. It's pretty hilly in that area. You also have some pretty good distances between services like stores and gas stations. I would recommend going down with a group ride. RRG does a family fun ride as part of the race week. You can find out more at cyclethegorge.com
