Tour de Louisville information at www.2WheelSports.com and follow to registration being completed thru TrueSport.
The 08 Tour de Louisville will bring lot's of good challenges on the 1.5 mile track with lot's of off camber, technical handling, sweeping corners, couple of rollers and 1 short steep along with a long gradual climb. It offers up a little of everything!!
BikeClicks / Team Louisville is setting the course.
The Green Monster will not be present for your enjoyment as the varying terrain will give you plenty of challenge. Someone may even get wet around the three ponds.
The cool dip may be inviting as it will be dry and dusty with no rain in the forecast. The ground is hard as asphalt, some holes have been filled and one barrier - actual top of the Greeen Monster will be used to span a deep grainage ditch for your running pleasure.
The new venue "Fisherman's Park" does not have permanent bathrooms so "port-a-pots" to visit.
No running water so please come prepared with plenty of fluids!
Mark Luking and bro-in-law will staff a GRILL with burgers & chips for your after race eats! Music will also be playing.
Items to bring: pop-ups if you have them, chairs, plenty of fluids - no open containers so bring cups for after race, COWBELLS, and your loud voices for a fun day of racing.
Hope to see you there, Darrell Edwards BC/TL |

| They'll probably have license applications at the race, but in case they don't it's easy enough to pick it up online: https://www.usacycling.org/myusac/index.php?pagename=login |

You should be able to buy a day license for $10 on race day for any of the CAT 4 categories. You just pay for it and sign off on it when you pick up your number.
If you're planning to race more than 6 races it makes sense to spring for the USAC license. Plus, it's easier to upgrade and keep track of results that way.
I raced on day passes all last CX season. Mainly because I knew I'd be racing in the Spring road series and licenses are only good to Jan 1. So why spend $60 for a few months and six races? |

There is a KOA in Clarksville (just over the River off I-65). More of an RV place than a true tent camping deal....lots of pavement no trees.

| Steve, If you would rather have a roof over your head, you are welcome to my spare bedroom or basement. You can camp in my backyard if you want as well :) |
