yeah, it's obvious how much everyone hates him by the fact that he was elected TWICE...
Did that cat ever win the popular vote? I'm tellin ya, future historians will have a field day with this administration. |

I consider myself a fiscal conservative, and therefore cannot call myself a Bush fan. But this editorial by Paul Johnson (British historian) will make you think about the alternative(s) and what they may do under similar circumstances: http://www.forbes.com/columnists/forbes/2008/0505/027.html |

| What we can say, is that when ole George dub-ya reaches down and grabs his groin he finds a set of balls. This terrorist in american clothing that's trying to take over doesn't find the same when he reaches down. I agree we need change but the change needs to come from a leader with morals and backbone made of stainless steel. |

And he eats french fries, french toast, french dressing and Perrier (Peru). This is pure snow! Do you have any idea what the street value of this mountain is? And I am the God of Hell Fire. And Kara Thrace is the herald of the apocalypse and the harbinger of death. |

I must say that I am proud of all of you. The tone has not gone well beyond whitty, thought provoking and slightly sarcastic, and has not gone into the realm of being sardonic and mean-spirited. (borrowed from Chuck) I have had it with both Democrats and Republicans. I think they all SUCK! Much like OCGuy, I am a fiscal conservative and I am having a hard time getting behind any one of the 3 left standing. |

| In an election you must pick the less of 2 evils. That is MaCain. Osoma is a good speaker and that's all. Hillery is the lady that act likes she is your friend and then talks about how she can't stand you when you leave. If Osoma gets in the White House he will end up the worse president in history. In and out in 4. Funny how people are swayed by the way you present yourself. You could be a serial killer and if you present yourself properly to the right people they will start to love you. |

I hope before you vote you learn the Canidates names. It is Obama and Mccain! BTW your point about people being swayed by presentation, well could you explain that in regards to our current president? |

MACAIN, HUSSAIN, OSOMA! What is there to explain? I was making a point. Sure George Bush does the same thing. I think Bush had a great opportunity as president, but he blew trying to make everybody happy. That don't work. I have had bosses at work that I totally didn't agree with. They were honest in there decision and stuck by it. I respected people that don't make decision just to make everyone happy and to be everyone's friend. That being said MaCain will do the same. I choose him as the less of 2 evils. A good example of this is Rowbear. On the old site Rowbear and I had different views on almost every topic. Although we had different opinions he had good basis(so he thought) for his opinion. I never met the guy(hope I never do), but I respected his point of view. I don't know what any of this has to do with a quote? This topic has got side tracked and more enjoyable.

a good example of winning on presentation would be Kennedy vs. Nixon, especially considering their first televsion debate in which most considered nixon to have one that listened to the debate on the radio but everyone who watched the debate on t.v. believed kennedy won, his suit didn't blend into the back drop like nixons, nixon hadn't shaved and was pale and sweaty because he had had a cold. As far as GW I dunno, I guess he just did a better job appealing to big business and the portion of America that embrace a sort of cowboy spirit of kicking ass and asking questions later. If there had been no 9/11 he wouldn't have won a second term.

That's for sure Paul. A recent book called G. W. the biggest white collar criminal ever after he stole the first election. He has signed more than 800 signing statements more than all presidents combined. There will be a lot of books written about this administration and that's me stating it as nicely as possible. |

Thats a little far-reaching (but prolly not far off). I mean, who knows what other events could have happened and or shaped those 4 years.
