What day do you have in mind? I have a couple of hours on Saturday and Sunday morning and was thinking about it myself.

We'll be camping at Otter Creek. Probably riding Duffield off and on all day Sunday and Monday. My name is Seth and I'll be on a silver/black sx trail.

didnt see anyone out here tonight ;). was there from 2:30-6ish. Saw a couple hikers, but that's it (although we did see a white car with 2 top mounted bikes on it on the way there). Sessioned on my new bike, and it was like butter, so so smooth. Didnt do the creek jump because I'm not retarded, but I did find another trail I never knew existed... It's at the crossroads part (creek jump) you just kinda go straight instead of turning left. (or if you're coming down, you turn left instead of going right). 2 pretty steep declines with a small transition jump and a couple 2 foot drop things. How do you get up there without walking up the steep hills??

If you are on a big bike, it's best to just walk up. Otherwise, continue on up the cross country trail (from the top part of the DH trail) instead of taking the right through the doubles, (to the creek) to the best part of the overlook and you can cut through to the right onto that trail. Confused yet? When you are up there you can also take another trail that takes you to the other creek bed trail.

Sure didn't make it out there till monday, and yeah, it was a little dry. Quick, but dry. Saw a couple groups out there, 3 or 4 FS goin down a hill quickly... I mean really quickly..... Wish i knew what bike that second guy was riding. Looked pretty slick for the .10 seconds i saw it. Any takers?

my post didnt go through, but I dont know when you went out there.... My buddy was riding a red / black cannondale f600, and I was on a brown/white coilair. If you were out there at around 4ish it could have been us. I was tearing up the new section I found all the way out to the parking lot. |
