From another site...Gojira said - "I have no time these days for helping guys. Sorry to say it.
I passed you in the middle of the week at some point on one of my first single speed rides and was so tore I dont think that I couldve been much help. I really had no place to stash my monkey at the time either."
If you have enough time to stop and unblock a closed trail, then you have enough time to help out on a trail day. It's that simple. Just give an hour or two. Nothing personal.
And I have a hard time stashing my monkey too. But, my wife says that's a good problem to have.

| I was just trying to guilt and shame you and everybody else I could into helping out with the trail work. Trail days are also the best and most reliable way to find out the future plan for park additions and reroutes. Later. |

I had several people stop and talk to me last weekend a the Cherokee trail maintenance that were not aware that it was going on and suggested they would have attended if they would have known. Course, no one actually got off their bike and helped that I am aware of, but having these things scheduled out and broadcasted to everyone couldn't hurt. Frankly, with the way the website is set up, it's hard to have a way to notify people. I bet most people who frequent here never go to the home page either. When I mentioned this website, I got the same frustrated feedback about difficulty getting here that many others have mentioned. Most give up and never try again. If we want to increase attendance at these type of events, there will have to be something done. |

However there are alot of people on this website that seem to have all the time in the world to post on here but seem to have a hard time making time for trail work.
