| Gerald, if you don't mind I'd like to broaden this to what grips people like overall. I bought some Ritchies (sp?) and they haven't been great at all. The moment my hand starts sweating, I start slipping all over them. I looked at the ergonomic ones, but didn't have any info on them. |

I wasn't having a slipping issue considering I wear gloves. I wanted to do something to help tingling, numbness and fatigue. I rode today for the first time with the grips and Barry L, until my crash on the KYMBA downhill they seemed to really help in all those areas.
After the crash I was too caught up with the pain in my ribs to worrying about the hands. I heard that howling monkey Jack was referring too.
If able, I plan on riding Sunday. I'll give some more info how they feel after another ride.

I started liking ODI Rogues when I put them on my BMX bike. I had regular Oury's on one of my singlespeeds, which I really liked, also. Both have quite a bit of cushion. For thinner grips, I've used Pedro's Bobke Prayer Sticks, which seem to be out of production. I recently put ODI Rogue lock-ons on the singlespeed, and switched out the stock grips on my KHS Solo One to Oury lock-ons. Summary: lock-ons, Oury and ODI Rogue for thicker squishier grips, and I can't help if you like thinner grips. |
