HELLO GUYS!!!
Rowbear in Lexington? OMG!!!! What did I do to deserve that? lol The more the merrier I say. We need to hook up sometime this year. Ever ride with a real bear before? hehe
Bryan,
I knew you'd still be around. Not much is going on. I tied the knot last September 22 and things are going well. Laid completely off the bike last year (and I'm hating myself for it) but "guess who's back?". My brother and his family moved back to town so I him and his kids mountain bikes. No more excuses for Uncle Matthew to be lying on the couch on a sunny day.
Pedal the Planet is having their big sale this week so what better way to rejoin the clan than by GETTING NEW STUFF!!! Yep, that's right. FIREBALL'S GETTIN' A NEW TOY!!! (along with the essential accessories of course.)
Not so fast though...I ain't tellin' ya what it is yet. It's on order and should be here ready to roll sometime next week.
LET'S GO GIT DERTY!!! |

Rowbear, Hey thanks for the heads up a few months back on the job. I am really enjoying Legal Aid. You are a missed commodity around here. I always hear about some colorful case notes that you put in at the office and the riders i encounter around here often ask where you went to. Hope all is well in Lexington. Roy |

I'm up in Georgetown. I sure wish it would stop F'n raining so I could take out the new Trek, with the puppy dog running with.... I'm also trying to get the wife into the sport, riding my old bike. I usually ride at Capitol view. |

I got my wife a bike a couple of years ago and she has only been on one trail (Veterans). She liked it but I think she might have gotten dirty so that was the end of that. LoL
Seriously though, she's super excited to start riding this year. I don't know what the change was but she's gone from tooling around the neighborhood a few times to buying cycling clothes and fussing because it's still cold and raining. WHO WOULDA THUNK?
Hang in there. Try to make it fun for your wife instead of a teaching lesson or competition. "Patience" is the key!!! Oh, and hopefully your old bike is remotely close to fitting her. Comfort is everything. |
