I'm having trouble with my honda 1979 cm400a. It'll start for a second then die, also had some backfiring after trying to start it a ton. I've replaced a bunch of electric parts cause I wasn't getting a spark for a while, I think the gas may have gone bad in the meantime, a period of like 2 1/2 months. Anyway, now I'm pretty sure it is flooding cause when I pull the plugs, they're wet and black. Anyone wanna come over and pull my carbs and go through them? I'll give you one PBR per hour. Otherwise, I guess I'll just do it myself but I need to be doing school work instead. |

lol, fair enough. BTW i have nothing to add, i just wish i could pay a mechanic PBR per hour. Heck, i just wish i could afford to pay a mechanic period.
i always end up doing the work myself, break something, then drink heavily. i don't work and drink |

| Darn, I thought this was going to be a discussion thread highlighting Robert Pirsig. I really liked the book, even though it set off occasional migraines. |

| You should sell that motorcycle and use the money to hire an attorney to sue your proffessors for filling your head with such anti-capitalist ideas... |

| the money from my motorcycle wouldn't be enough for capitalist attorney's retainer fees. We need a socialized legal system, that way nobodies attorney is better than anyone elses attorney |

I have a friend that is working on a older street bike. "Never work on a old street bike" he said. He kept finding things wrong with it. The bike also had a fuel/electrical problem. Rowbear, maybe you guys should get together and hang out. His bike is a Honda also.
