I was down at the St. James art fair wearing a McCain and a Northup sticker on my shirt.
The driver of the 2nd street association shuttle said, "Aren't you afriad to wear that down here? Obama supporters can get pretty rough. No one in their right mind would have a McCain yard sign in front of their house here. It would be vandalized in a heartbeat".
Marvin, how you can align yourself with those people is beyond me.
BTW, I saw the Palin interview. She said one can see Russia from one part of Alaska. That is a factual comment.
I also saw the Biden-Palin debate. I saw Joe, your man, spin crap after crap from whole cloth.

Wally. My spandex is not knotted. In fact they maybe to small. Tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from, whats your status single or married, any children what's your occupation, age? I am 30, my girlfriend and I have one child together and she has one from a previous marriage. (my baby is a girl and just turned 1 on 9-12, our son turned 5 on 9-30) I havent taken the plunge into marriage because I guess im too damn stuborn to. I have been in the electrical field for about 10 years. Working for neon sign companies for about 7 of those. I have been in Kentucky since 1993. (moved from Moreno Valley Ca).
I mainly ride a sweet vintage 1976 schwinn 10 speed. ( I had to sell my mountain bike ) When I did have my mountain bike I would ride in the wood behind Mcnealy lake or down around the ohio river in riverport area. I have never raced with any of you but there are a few people that know me on this site.(I will not name for saftey reasons) And I live in Bullit co right next to Jefferson co area of Preston hwy. I am looking forward to riding mountain bikes again just dont have the cash to get a new one right now. But belive me I will ride eventually with you guys. And I will make a shirt that has WALLACE on the back so you can all give me s@#$.
My name is as stated on my profile Greg Gant. Like I have said talking about breaks,petals,etc is boring to me so sorry if you all dont understand that. I like to crack jokes and talk politics and love UK basket ball. Boo UofL. So dont take this stuff to personal and hopefully this will clear things up for you guys.

Hey Wallace, pleased to meet ya. Glad to know that you are human.
I'm 48 (unbelievable), happily married (tomorrow is my 18th anniversary, we have been together for 24 years now), and have two great kids (ages 5 and 9) that I'm probably too old for. They're my focus now, racing a bike not so much. I'm not easy yet (don't listen to Marvin), but I'm headed that way.
I've been a tree hugging hippie liberal all my life, and let me tell ya; we have alot more fun than you right wing whackos. Do ya'll even know what fun is??
Wandered around outside all my life, and did'nt stumble upon mtbs until my early 30's, then adv racing not long after. Turns out that an old country boy might have some applicable skills.
I've been faking it ever since. |
