I think that 9 times out of 10 when someone makes a RANDOM political post on here they are only doing it to try to stir things up. No one in their right mind would expect a productive conversation or to convince other members to switch sides. So in my mind those posts are trolling posts, whether the member that posted them be a full-time troll or not.

It's pretty wild when MEK makes sense.

Since anyone can join the site (and we want people to join the site) #5 is usually a last check once a poster has "qualified" as a troll based on 1 - 4. 

Typically, if I see trolling coming from a member, I'll send out some PMs or talk to people are rides/races and say "anyone know who ______ is?"

It takes a village.

haha ha ha.....roadies don't wine.....now we all know you are full of sh... wallace.  hold your line...centerline rule....mmmm fill the gap.....usually all while they are drafting off of you because you have the power of a mtber to pull the group back up to the lead group.  i'm a tech gech so i like the mtb's best chain,fork or what not conversations/posts.  i know nothing about politics so i don't go to political forumns.  i know a little about bikes so i go to bike forumns.  usually when a streak of bad weather or it starts getting colder is when the political posts break out.  so if thats what your into....now is almost your time to come out.

I'm a mythical cross between Mike Fink and Paul Bunyan, (John Holmes too).   Somewhere out there, on a trail near you now.
