The season is about here, and I can't wait to get back on the trails. I think this is the longest time I have spent out of the saddle.
The entire winter I made it out for 4 rides when it was either frozen or snow, but they were short rides without much "training " involed.

The last month or so I have fallen off the wagon and not been spinning on the trainer at home, I think I lost motivation for the trainer and with work and school filling my days it is too easy to find excuses to not sit and spin.

I have been lifting weights and keeping any extra weight off, but I think I will have to re-build my cycling legs and will be friends with Mr. pain come the 1st race of the season.

Hope others have faired better than myself and have kept the pedals spinning this winter.

I've been ranked as Pro trainer rider by the USTCA <---United States Trainer Cycling Assoc. I need to go back in my training log and see how many hours I've put in. I'm kind of skeeeert to look honestly.

I had logged 840 road miles in Jan and Feb then got hurt on the job on march 1st and am just now getting back on the bike. Hopefully I haven't lost too much of my base in the last two weeks.

You mean you are supposed to ride a bike? I thought mine were just for hanging on the wall ala Seinfeld. Where is that crying smilie when you need it?

I know what you mean. I've had my new mtb for a month and it hasn't been on dirt yet.

I just got out for my first ride since January when the weather was nice and warm. Hopefully the warm weather won't be leaving anytime soon.
That is a lot of road miles to have logged in those months Shane. Congrats

Rode Laurel Lake trail today. It's in great shape with only a few wet spots and no mud anywhere.  Met a guy from Indy riding who said he had to drive this far south to find dry trail.
