The alignment of the stars and planets look favorable to doing an LSD ride on Sunday. I'm thinking of doing this route: http://www.kybikerides.org/ridemaps/1903.htm
It's a very nice ride, not too hilly, with a rest stop mid-way.
I'm hoping to leave Long Run at 8 AM and I'd enjoy any company. By LSD I'm not talking long steady distance, but long SLOW distance, as in 12-14 MPH average, dropping to 1-2 MPH up steep hills (maybe not that slow, but I ain't hammering), so if you want to go fast, bring yer own cue-sheet and have at it.

I had a dude riding a bike try sell some meth to me in Minneapolis. He was weaving slowly down a sidewalk (clearly marked with "No Bicycle" signs) and had a wicker basket tethered to the back of his bike. Meth is a drug for idiots.

| Well me and my imaginary friend had a good ride, even as I noted that this morning couldn't have been better for MTBing if you had dialed it in. There were way too many roadies fitted with aerobars out today. It made me strangely nervous. Otherwise a great ride. |

What's your issue with Roadies & Aerobars? As long as they stay at least 50 feet away they really don't pose any danger to anyone other than themselves. |

I thought that kind of thing was illegal. This group would pass me, stop ahead, adjust their lycra, drink their Electrolux or whatever specially designed crap they were consuming, then pass me agin, then stop and readjust their lycra, etc. It got on my nerves. After the third time (honest) I ducked down Drane Lane and never saw them again. Thank Gaia.
