| Just wanted to let everyone know that the race season has really shaped up nicely. All the promoters have really stepped it up with sponsors support and good vibes. All the info can be found by clicking on the Link to your left for Ky Point Series.
If you go to the calendar section you can check out the race fliers detailing the days events as well as added bonuses to each race. Youngers/England Idlewild to name a few have added additional prize money to the purse and all the promoters I have talked to have put the emphasis on having a festival atmosphere at each race. It's gonna be a great season. To make it a huge success promoters need riders. So who cares if your out of shape, or your bike weighs 35lbs get out there and have some fun. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face. |

| Wondering if races will still go on if the rain ruins the trails which it has all winter and spring?? Basically will races go on if conditions are as they were for the mammoth mash last year??? |

| that call will be up to the individual race director. If it is called off because of weather we will try to get it rescheduled for a date that will not interfere with a previous scheduled race |

Mountain bike races generally take place under any condition as long as the riders safety is not in jeopardy (tornados, etc). That said, it is also up to the individual promoter if a race is to go on or not. |

| What would be really sweet is if they could contact crusty and let him know ahead of time even a day so it could be posted out here. I know many people went to the mamoth race then turn around and do the 2 hour drive back home. Guess I'll brake out the hardtail if conditions turn to crap. |

| after the muddy race Sunday the same issue came to mind. So.... I will add a section to the series site for last minute changes/cancellations etc. I will contact all the promoters and request an update the last two days before the race. Even an update on how good the trails are would be well received. I'm on it. |
