Just wanted to say thanks to everybody who helped make the 2008 KPS a success. I hope everyone liked the new format and I am open to all suggestions for next year's battle. One thing I have already decided is to add a SS class as well as other plans to make next year bigger and better. If you have any suggestions or would like to become involved in next years series please email me at kypointseries@gmail.com

| Thanks for adding the SS class for next year. I hope my body can hold out for another year. One question: Is there a reason none of the KPS is USAC sanctioned? |

| In the past (NoRBA) USAC UCI or whatever the latest "governing body is" has usually deterred promoters from using them due to the high costs to them and the racers. I would like to see an AMBC event in Kentucky but this is up to the individual promoter. |

Some good ideas are coming in. First idea is to let a DNF count as a series race. It seems only fair. having a DNF is a bummer enough. (good idea Woodson consider it done) > Any incentive to get more kids/beginners/ and females to participate is always helps the atmosphere and strengthens the scene. > Clydesdales? whaddayall think? |

| while most places probably wouldn't hurt to have clysdale...i don't really see it used all that much here in ky. maybe it would pull the bigger guys out of the wood work to race in it though. there where a few at waverly that i hadn't seen that where in the clydes class. I do belong in that class as judd points out with my cheatos training regimen but i don't like racing against only a couple others and never seeing anyone during my races. I told one of my teamates just this morning that it takes a long time for your body to adjust to the vigorous training torture that vanilla iced zingers in the morning do to it. He said he tried and it just didn't make him fast up the hills like me. |
