Rusty, the novelty wears off after you get hit head on by the 3rd frat boy in 2 miles on a Fuel playing mtb (or worse yet he hits some Olmstead folks). Or when the trails in Cherokee get closed again cuz the same toolboxes saw an awesome picture of Lance all muddy and he wanted to get muddy too.

Nothing wrong with Lance doin whatever (including 19 year old anorexics), I object to the writer rationalizing that him doin that will make a lot of people start mtb-ing, (like the way so many locally faithfully follow their 700c leaders) It's like any other short term solution; in the end, youre right back where you started but usually with more duct tape goo to clean up.
