Just received this email from the forest service.

All,
The Buckskin Trail is temporarily closed from its intersection with the Cave Run Trail (112) to its intersection with the eastern terminus of Hog Pen Trail (106) until July 1st. This closure is due to the location of a new Bald Eagle nest along the trail. We can discuss in greater detail Tuesday.

Thanks,
Robert L. Sitzlar

It's a good idea to keep people away from bald eagle nests.  They're finnicky about where they lay their eggs and will abandon their nests if too many people come through the area.
