| I've got a brand new rear mytho never used, a rear that has 3 rides on it and a front with a ton of tread left. $25 for all three shipped for anyone that is looking for tires. |

Rico, I know you were holding one for me but when I moved I found a Kenda tire I forgot I had, so go ahead and give to someone else.

| I went on a ride yesterday and I was using my panaracers xc pros. I came down a large hill doing somewhere between 18-22 mph and I hit some wet leaves combined with some soft damp soil. I started to slide toward a tree and my tires caught traction. It restored my confidence in the tires. I shouldn't have been doing that fast, but most of the trail is rock so I wasn't thinking about the damp spots. |

| Where on earth did you find rideable trails yesterday? The trails here in NKY are soup...and will likely remain soup for at least another month. I'm so jealous. |

| This trail I rode is basically small rock that goes up the hill so it drains well and it doesn't hold moisture. That's why I was so surprised to hit a soft spot. If you want to ever come down and ride after a monsoon let me know. |

| Has anyone tried the rampage? I don't think I could run it as a rear tire, but I may look into it as a front tire. If anyone has a set of these could you tell me their true width? |

| I know my little albert up front and smart sam rear tire look fast as hell on the bike. I'll be breaking them in for the first time in SC this coming week. With the piss poor weather we've had for the last 4 months, I"m a little excited to hit the trails in SC. The wife told me I couldn't take my bike. I said in a polite way that we'll talk about the divorce on the way down and that the bike is going... LMAO After a calm discussion about not riding for 3-4 months I think I deserve the right to some ride time down south and the loving wife that she is, agreed with me. I"ll take plenty of pics. |

LOL Sounds familiar. I might add that sometimes I have to watch paint dry on HGTV. Exciting stuff. |

Posted By Tonybob on 03/21/2008 5:07 PM Where in SC you riding Rico? today I rode the marrington plantation and LOVED it. 12 mile outer loop thru palemetos, pines and marshes all around. Big ring kickin it the entire time, which is something I"ve never done. It's about 15 miles north of charleston on a naval base. REALLY cool trails I must say. I"m going back in 2 days to run it all bassakwards. There's also an out and back trail close too but it's not as good as the marrington according to the locals. Charleston, SC rocks all around fo dam sure.
Now for the tires I"ve recently started using. WOW like riding on rails. These SOB"s stick to the ground like they are covered in gorilla glue. The front grabs like my dads hand on a miller lite and the rear rolls like a caddy on 22in dubs. They make you straighten the curves like the duke boys in the general lee. I'm in love.

It's all about feel mostly and the terrain. I weigh about 150 fully dressed and usually run about 30psi |
