| unfortunately finding a professional sport where the athletes don't participate in a lil' testicular-shrinking drug use is going to be difficult. i'm sure curling is the next sport to go down. |

Well, here in the adult entertainment industry we try to avoid that stuff. I can't speak for professional cycling though. |

News flash, everyone in evey sport is doin it. if you girls are really that upset over your "heros" using performance enhancers, got news for you, even clean, they are still better than you will ever be doing twice as much. I mean seriously, who gives a rats rear, its entertainment. Hendrix used performance enhancing substances and nobody seems to mind. We take fistfulls of viagra and other perscription drugs every day that have adverse side effects, yet we get bent out of shape when a guy racing 2500 miles over 2 mountain ranges in a 3 week time takes something to help him. yeah, the outrage is totally justified. go see this, its enlightening. http://www.biggerstrongerfastermovie.com/ Also, just finished "put me back on my bike" the tom simpson story. doping is/was as much a part of cycling as the wheel. doping was legal until '67, it hasnt been until recently that we have cracked down on it. And no, other than caffeine, i've never tried anything. I just think the hypocrisy over who is allowed to take what drugs when is just laughable. |

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if they're all taking illegal supplements/drugs then nobody is cheating, it's still a level playing field. I would imagine that EPO just helps you have a good day, not a day of work that you wouldn't be capable of with enough recovery. I'm sure I could do 2 or 3 hits of EPO and still get beat by old men.
On a side note
I hate finding out that bands I like (who I think are creative) do dope that's why I only listen to Minor Threat, Earth Crisis, Endpoint, Limp Wrist, and The Doors |

i found this article very enlightening: http://outside.away.com/outside/bodywork/200311/200311_drug_test_1.html. Perhaps many of you are familiar with it. It almost made me want to go out and cop some HGH. I mean, at my age. It also convince me these substances need to be banned from sports. I think this is the only time I've ever disagreed with T-bob. However, I'm on vacation, tapping this out from pool-side, so to speak, and can't mount a coherent argument as to why. Too many pool-side intoxicants? Perhaps. (For entertainment purposes only. I'm actually holed up in the condo keeping an eye out on my grand-daughter while my lovely daughters, all three of them, are frolicking in the ocean mist in a land called Honna-Lea). |

If you know whats good for you, it will be the last time too. ;) I just dont understand how in a world of elective surgeries to look better/younger/slimmer or popping pills just to grow hair or help you have sex, you can fault an athlete for taking something to help him take his game to the next level. Every aspect of life is all about weighing risk vs reward. |

Soooo, when the Chinese teams shows up out of the blue and kicks everybodys ass, that will be fair??? When East Germany starts dominating the tour that will be fair??? Whoever designs the best drugs wins?? Fair??? And what about those poor Haitian and Ethiopian privateers that can't afford those drugs??? They'll have to make use of animal suppliments like you expert class guys use here in Ky. That can't be fair. Suck it up. Run with what you brung. Let the best athlete win. |

| I'd just like to say in closing than when the Mt Rushmore of Ky mtbing is carved out of the Cumberland Mountains, the cornerstones will be two icons in the history of Ky mtbing: PR and BMontana. And when you drive by, you can gaze in amazement at our massive adult entertainment mustaches. |

| it took a bit to read the whole thing (at work), but it was an interesting article. my basic point is its goin to happen. period. ban it. lock em up. whatever. it still going to go on. hundreds of laws are broken everyday. people cheat in all kinds of ways everyday. some get caught some dont. it's life. deal with it. just stop crying because your "hero" cheated. as a grown man (not singling anyone out, just sayin in general), maybe you need to reevaluate what is important if you are looking up to other men who pedal bikes or hit balls with sticks. |
