Hey Steve,
Once everyone finds their way to this site, there should be a lot of suggestions.

Posted By scopes monkey on 03/06/2008 10:17 AM WTF?!? Have I not been paying attention or did this just come out of the blue? Out of the blue. Things went a little wiggy with KyMBA site and Mike asked us to help out in a hurry. There is a lot to do but hope this will be an improvement for you.

| "wiggy" is a technical term for Jack changing hairstyles. |

| I think most of the users are simple people. We mostly just want basic topics that apply to mountain biking much like the old site. General mountain biking, racing and training, shop talk, classifieds, and off topic should be a good start. |

| One feature I enjoy is the 20 or so last posts page. Makes life a little easier than checking several forum topic areas. |

Also turned on subscriptions so you can get email alerts on topics and forum areas where you've selected "notify me..." |

Maybe I'm just unwiggy, but I like this site better when you back out of the whole "KYMBA" side, and just use the Bikeclicks.com site. The KYMBA stuff still shows up caus it looks like we are the only ones one here anyway. Props for the classified section, it is nice to have it indexed by product type. will it index out between FS and WTB when those posts start showing up? |

Right now the KyMBA section is part of a larger forum. I think based on what I'm seeing already we'll just turn this forum into the KyMBA forum on the KyMBA page. That should make things easy. You are right about being "first" on BikeClicks. KyMBA go in a little earlier than we planned on but "any site" is better than "no site" right? Since we're also adding Master Nationals, Red River Gorge, Kenda BikeFest, OVCX and possibly more in the coming weeks I think a "neighborhood concept" will work better than everyone having just one part of what could become a ridiculously huge forum. On the classifieds we can go down a few levels. So let me know what they should be and we'll setup sub types for everything. |
