| I started jacking around the forum structure but I didn't like it so I pretty much put it all back. I did add the forums mentioned earlier within KyMBA. |

I think I spoke too soon, there were only a few posts on the site when I send the suggestion, now that things are populated, the list to the right is what I requested.
Thank you for your help.
Posted By WebGuy on 03/06/2008 7:58 PM Is the listing to the right showing the latest posts what your talking about or am I missing something?

Instead of latest posts, can we have active topics? If 10 people post to the same thread, that's all you'll see in the latest posts and have to dig around to find out what's being talked about on the rest of the site.

| Yep, click on the Active Topics link at the top of the forums. It lets you view posts you haven't seen already by timeframe. |

The site looks great. Look forward to utilizing it.
The only problem I have is the site is very hard to get to. You can't use KYMBA.org web address and when you google KYMBA or Kentucky mountain biking it pulls up KYMBA.org. Is there any way to make it when people use kymba.org they can be redirected here? Other wise I don't know how people will find the website.
It also be cool to see who's logged on to the site.
Thanks for the effort. Chris Ward

Since this forum seems to be more updated than the former one, is there a way to just pull up posts you haven't read? I also second Chris's comments. It takes me more than a few clicks to get to a forum page. When you click on the forum link, it's a picture with a list of active topics to the right. |

I also second Chris's comments. It takes me more than a few clicks to get to a forum page. When you click on the forum link, it's a picture with a list of active topics to the right. Yes, you can click on the "Active Topics" link at the top of the forum. This will show you the most recent postings you haven't seen since your last visit. You can also adjust the timeframe to see more or fewer posts.
On the nav. We're working with KyMBA, but we are also hosting OVCX, Tour of the Red River Gorge, Master's Nationals and Kenda Bike Fest. So, to try and keep things in "neighborhoods" so you don't need to read everything about other groups we've tried to organize things based on your group.
The idea behind BikeClicks is that many people belong to more than one group; OVCX, KyMBA, LBC, Spring Series, etc. So rather than have a bunch of forums, we're working to combine them into a more comprehensive community but still give each group their own "place" online.
You can get to the KyMBA forums a few ways:
You can go through the main forum and navigate down to the KyMBA section
You can go there directly: http://bikeclicks.com/communities/kymba.aspx
Or, you can get to them from the KyMBA.org site (although this is just a view of the KyMBA posts here on BikeClicks) |

What about posting photos? You can post photos in the photo gallery (I added an album for KyMBA). These will be shown throughout the site.
I'll also turned on attachments here in the forum. You'll be able to post up to three attachments. They need to be one of the following file types: jpg, gif, pdf, bmp, png under 100K and if they are an image the need to be 500 x 500 or smaller.
Please keep them "relevant" to the topic (if you know what I mean).

Thanks, that worked great. I'm also glad for the quote function. |

You can see who is online at the bottom of the main forum. I hope to add this info to the bottom of every page in the future and set it up to you can click on a member's username to see their profile, send them a private message, etc.

Jeff, We'll be adding a "rides" function shortly. It will allow you to create groups of your riding buddies (or an entire cycling club) and schedule and broadcast invitations to all them. It will also keep track of who is in and who isn't. |
