Good morning fellow riders,
My name is Eric and I am from the Philadelphia area.  I will be visiting the Louisville area from 6/4 - 6/12 and staying at the Holiday Inn downtown.  Unfortunately, i can't travel with my mountain bike.  I have called just about every shop in the city and have tried to get a rental/demo for the week and have had no luck at all.  I was really surprised because up here it is not a problem.  Fortunately, many of the people i talked to at the shops suggested this group to see if i could find someone that could help.  So i am hoping some kind soul, that wants to make some $, can help me out.  I am looking to rent a bike from a local for the week and catch some of the local trails/rides in the evenings when i am out of work.  I don't really care about type of bike.  I can't be too picky.  It can be hardtail, full- suspension, 29ER, singlespeed, .... really does not matter.  We can workout the details if anyone out there has a bike just hanging in there garage waiting to be riden.  I am about 5-9 and race in the expert/endurance class up here.  If you want to contact me off the message board, email me at ereid197@hotmail.com

Thanks for listening to this plea and i hope some rider out there can lend me a hand and show me some of the trails down there.  Again, i will gladly pay a rental fee in return for your help.

Eric

Glad you checked in - we'll be glad to have you in town. I've got an extra bike you're welcome to - and I'm about the same size. I think it's also safe to say that we'll be able to get you in on some group rides while you're here. Feel free to give me a call as the dates get closer and we can catch up. 502.777.2029

You can PM me if necessary. I have a small inventory of HT and FS available although I can't say I can be a guide in the evenings that week due to kid duty.
