Well it's time for the 2nd annual Mammoth Cave/Sal Hollow KYMBA Group Ride. Last year all that attended can say we had a friggon blast. This is a no drop ride so don't be skeert to come if your a slow rider.
Oct. 4th - 5th --- That's a Saturday and Sunday.
Same location as last year, maple Springs campground, I"ll pay for the site upfront and collect on Saturday.
Full ride out and back during the day, night ride starting around dark. Some might ride Sunday some might not, we'll decide Sunday morning.
Plenty of camping area so come on down.
Bathrooms across the street but no showers, unless you want to shower at the water spicket like we did last year... LOL
If you can't make the ride consider yourself missing one hell of a good time. Good riding, good people, good food and good beer, WTF else could ya ask for ????? |

Or the beer drinking. Usually one group stays back and one group goes out, or do both like I did last year.. DOH |

Although the place is flowy fast, you hit a fair number of sizeable and occasionally loose rocks at high speed. Overall, I found it fairly easy to SS.
Unfortunately, I will be missing this festivity along with the Brown County Breakdown.

| I have to put this on my Calendar. I wanted to go last year, but something came up. I just hope one of my 2 soccer teams don't have games. |

I hope to join you for at least the group ride. Not sure if I'll be able to stay the night. We may need to get a trail report. Does anyone know the conditions? Hopefully the tropical winds were kind to the area. |

| I think I"m going to cancel this ride do to possible trail conditions at sal hollow. I have no idea what conditions the trails are in down there and whether anyone has gone thru and cleared the probably many trees that are down. I'd hate to go there and spend more time walking and getting off the bike than actually riding. |

| bowling green area didn't get clobered like the rest of us did. i think the main wind storm just came up from paducah area to owenboro area to louisville and on up north east. It kind of followed the border of ky i think. If you are just wanting to cancel i understand rico. have you even been on a bike this year man outside of the green river race??? ha ha hope the back is treating you better. mark palmer was having a ride on this date as well done in the london/sheltowee area. he said he talked to you to make sure they where on different dates but somehow they ended up on the same date after all. |

| I rode the trail for the first time on Sept 20th and it was mostly clear. There were only 3 or 4 small trees across the trail that many riders can probably ride over (I can't, yet). There was one bushy maple across the trail but you could go around it easily. Overall the trail was in great shape. |

sounds like this ride is just not going to happen with the low turnout. |
