I was just on my way home from work when I saw the aftermath of an accident. As I made the turn at the intersection I saw the police, the firefighters/medics and as I got closer I saw a bike on the ground with a severely bent front end.
I wasn't able to see anything else and I tried to pull over and turn into where it had happened but traffic was too thick.
Not sure if the guy/gal was severely injured or not but it still sucks!!! This is the same route I take to work when I ride my bike.
I'll post any info if it makes the news or if I hear anything else. |

Eastland and New Circle, on the Shell station side.

Where were you tonight? The meeting was great. We had about 10 people there and at least 5 or more that had to work but are on board 100%. |

Okay, I'm hoping this isn't an omen...
Short and sweet...there is a motorcyle down and a bicycle down. 2 people on the ground being prepped for transport. I did not see an automobile so I'm not sure what happened.

I work off Winchester Rd. It actually happened in front of the Jiff plant.
I did hear a little while ago that there was a car involved. Hit and run is what I was told. Check the 12 o'clock news to see if they have anything on it. |

Glad I didn't definitely say there was a car involved.
And the bicyclist was not thrown 50 feet. In the picture you see the cop car blocking the road in the background...that is where one of the bodies was lying. The other body was close to the bikes so I'm guessing the bicycle was thrown from the rider. |
