On Sat May 17 at 9am we will be having a trail day at Waverly Park to continue construction on the reroute we started earlier this year.  It looks like the weather is going to be good for this one, so I am hoping we can complete this reroute and ride after the trail work is complete.

KYMBA will bring tools, snacks and water.  Metro parks will also be on site assisting with the trail work.

We will be meeting at the turn around at the end of the access road.

If you have not been to IMBA trail school, I would encourage you to attend the Frankfort trail day at Capital View which is also this Saturday instead of the Waverly Trail day.   This is a great opportunity to learn about trail building techniques and to learn about IMBA and the work that they do on behalf of mountain bikers. It is always a good time.

Please post here if you plan on attending the trail day at Waverly.

Don't forget to bring your bike, if weather is good we will ride after the trail work day.

Please post here if you have questions.
Thanks for everyone’s support

Chris Ward

Chuck and Pat, I appreciate the interest.  I will not be available this Sunday, but I will try to schedule a trail day on Sunday in the near future.  I know you guys have asked before for Sunday trail days.

Thanks again for the interest.

If anybody can't make the IMBA school and have some free time on your hands  please come out to Waverly. Even if you can be there for a hour or two, every bit of time spent is a big help.

Thanks
Chris

I forgot about mid afternoon plans on Saturday so I'll be at Waverly bright and early, Like 8 Am or sooner. Chris I'll meet you all back at the reroute, also there is a tree down on the reroute we did last year so tell Larry to bring a chainsaw if you talk to him.

Rico, I should be there between 8:30 and 9am. I talked to Larry yesterday about the down tree.

I would like to thank Rico and Pat for coming out to trail work Saturday.  We got quit a bit of work done on the reroute.

I would also like to thank Larry and Matt from Metro parks for their help and support on Saturday.

The next trail day at Waverly is scheduled for 6/21/2008.

Thanks again
