Hey everyone - just a quick update from Frankfort. We had an incredible weekend with the IMBA Trail Care Crew and I want to thank everyone that made the trip out. Twenty five people came to the class and a few extras joined us in the field for trail work. It's always good to see so much interest and the visits almost always help get the local crews re-energized about their adopted trail systems.
Now is the time to start looking at the trails close to where you live and if you think the IMBA crew would be helpful, please let me know and I can help you with the application. I'd like KyMBA to apply for several visits around the state every year and if we can coordinate our applications, I think we'll have a much better chance.
I'll post details from the weekend in my blog later today or tomorrow, but again, thanks to everyone that came out. We'll do it again soon.
