| I'm planning on making it out to for the XC race on Sunday. Never been to Younger's, anybody care to give a course scouting report, I won't be able to pre-ride. I am assuming there are some switchbacks involded. |

You'll hit the switchback attack about 1/2 mile into the race, then it's fun fast singletrack for about 6 miles then you'll decend to a creek and have another big climb, not really a switchback to the top. I think the 2nd climb is worse than the switchbacks. Then it's 6 miles of fun fast singltrack to the finishline. Youngers is a blast you'll enjoy it for sure. |

Man, LBL was rough for passing. Pro/expert lap 3 hit back of the beginner pack, and quite a few hikers...ugh. Not knocking anyone cuz you cant know if nobody tells ya, but prior to a beginner/first-timer race, the director should give instructions for passing/getting passed. |
