| Man I get so frustrated sometimes trying to keep my bikes running. If I'm not jamming sticks in my derailleur I'm driving my car into the garage...bike on top. TWICE! well at least it was the road bike each time. Sometimes I think runners are on to something. whatever happened to the old me who rode a creaky poor shifting no suspension rusted out GT timberline oblivious to shifting, braking, creaking, air pressure, fitness or the weather. I spose a Paxil smoothie might take the edge off.
Am I the only one? |

| I feel you Rus. I bought my first nice roof rack, and house with Garage two years ago. Third time out I introduce the SS to the top of my garage, ripped the rack off the left side of my roof, destroyed that bike tray, bike was ok though. Funny thing is i remember it was up there like two seconds before the horrible crash. too late. |

| I'm afraid I'll jinx myself if I say I haven't had too much bad luck lately so I'll just say that I've had plenty in the past. I once got so mad that I threw my bike off a 30 foot ledge. I had just bought a new XT crank and put it on my bike. Halfway through my first ride on said crank the left pedal came off. I had failed to tighten it properly and it stripped my new crank arm. I pushed it 7 miles to the trailhead.Very next ride I got a sick in my new XTR rear derailleur and my rear wheel destroying both, this is when I threw it off the ledge. I fell and rolled to the bottom trying to get my bike back. My riding buddies didn't help much, the laughter could be heard for miles. |

When I had my roof rack, I would always throw the garage door opener in the trunk or the backseat so I would have to put more thought in to opening the garage door. ..but then you have to remember to do that too, so whatever.... |
