Wow, it is nice to have a site back, but what really happened to the old one?
Was all of the information saved? Is it compatable with this site?
Thank you to everyone that worked to get us back on line, ATTA-Boy to you all!

Not sure what happened to the old site. Mike asked me for some help since the old site was pretty much down and not coming back up anytime soon. We're happy to help and glad to have KyMBA on board with what we're trying to do. I'm checking into the old site to see if anything is salvagable or something we could at least catalog here. Stay tuned. |

Webguy,
How about adding a link to the trailmap and conditions page. Or better yet, since you appear to be using dotnetnuke, you could host it here.(?)
http://kytrails.qsh.es/
----------- I'd like to know 'The Real Deal' of what happened sometime too. It seems like we change boards every year or two and have to start over again because of some kind of drama...

the real deal is this: the old host, eroute.net, claimed our site was causing other sites they host to come down. i have requested proof of which they will not supply. basically - they can't configure a server and, instead of doing it correctly, blame others and shut them down. and since i didn't have time to, once again, rebuild a website, dulin had an answer in steven webster. |

Thanks Jack, not only for the answer, but for all the time you placed in the site. You know the saying, "you don't miss it until it is gone"? I didn't realize how much time I spent on the site, not to mention just being in the loop of information that I didn't even know I was interested in. For me, I don't get to see any KyMBA members in the off season, Trail rides, races, and trail work is about the only time I get with other members. The site is my link to the community, and you provided the resource with the site. Thank you again!

I would like for a few of us to have a meeting - I'd even come down to Louisville to discuss what needs to be on the website to help us facilitate mountain biking in the Commonwealth. I'm sure Jack and Eric have some ideas as well ability to contribute.

I had signed in under my old user name, but it only shows me the KYMBA news section. Every time I went someplace else it would log me out. I have set up a different user just to be able to post now?? |

What's with all the complaining? It's obvious Webguy has done a lot of work to get this up and running.
Thanks Webguy |

Hey, I was not complaining. I was just trying to figure out how to make this site work for me. I can not post, but things are still not right for me. If I click on the .org site, I log in under Gatman, but that log in does not work for this section. When I come to this section, I can log in as bentcrank and post?? I just didn't understand. |

| Sorry, the lack of saddle time must be getting to me. I had the same problem at first. I found out its easier to get to the site by just going through bikeclicks.com and not kymba.org. |

Maybe it would be a good idea to just point the kymba.org directly to http://bikeclicks.com/communities/kymba.aspx Hey Shane, I thought you were in lafayette?? |
