| Seems like a lot of money for a trail ride with hundreds of other riders. I like having the trials to myself personally. |

| I have heard good things about this ride. You get to ride trails that are normally off limits. I plan on it. |

The Brown County Breakdown is the only time of year to connect Brown County State Park with Hoosier National Forest. The 100 mile route goes through 4 counties and it's the ONLY day you can do this. This event is HMBA's largest fund raising event and ALL proceeds go directly back to building more trails in Indiana. Since it's not a race, spouses, friends, collegues, pros and novices alike can all ride together. We have live bluegrass music, a hidden cabin SAG stop, food provided by JUGS and great swag. Not to mention our t-shirts completely rock and there is only one way to get one... sign up! The Early Bird $50 price ends on Sept 14th. After that the price is $65 until Friday, October 10. Go to www.browncountybreakdown.com for FAQ's and a link to registration. |

Just thought I'd post a few teasers for ya'll...
Probably never thought there'd be a 10 minute (mostly) downhill in Indiana, but here you go...

Also, check out the spy footage of the new expert trail. It's been compared to Squirrel Gap in Pisgah National Forest.. and it's a much shorter drive!
Go to www.browncountymountainbiking.com and look for the link under Videos section! | |

Weather looks to be FANTASTIC this weekend for the Breakdown. We had a little bit of rain earlier in the week which knocked down the dust, so trails are going to be perfect for this weekend. Don't forget that online registration ($65) closes at 11:45 p.m tomorrow! You can register on-site both Saturday (3-8 p.m.) or Sunday before the ride. Cost of on-site registration is $80. There are also a few spots left for group tent camping at the Start/Finish on Saturday night. You MUST register online and pre-pay to camp. No exceptions. Registration for camping closes along with online registration tomorrow night. See you this weekend! |
