That's a really topical song for Neil. Not as much resonance as Rocking In The Free World, but a great song nonetheless. Probably not as relevant today as Coming Apart At Every Nail. |

As I beheld Joe Biden's plastic surgery I kept hearing this song over and over again... I've got your picture of me and you You wrote "I love you" I wrote "me too" I sit there staring and there's nothing else to do Oh it's in color Your hair is brown Your eyes are hazel And soft as clouds I often kiss you when there's no one else around I've got your picture, I've got your picture I'd like a million of you all 'round myself I want a doctor to take your picture So I can look at you from inside as well You've got me turning up and turning down I'm turning in I'm turning 'round I'm turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so Turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so I'm turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so Turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so I've got your picture, I've got your picture I'd like a million of them all 'round myself I want a doctor to take your picture So I can look at you from inside as well You've got me turning up I'm turning down I'm turning in I'm turning 'round I'm turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so Turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so I'm turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so Turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so No sex, no drugs, no wine, no women No fun, no sin, no you, no wonder it's dark Everyone around me is a total stranger Everyone avoids me like a cyclone Ranger Everyone... That's why I'm turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so Turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so I'm turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so Turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so [guitar] Turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so I'm turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so Turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so, think so, think so I'm turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so |

Good film. Neils' best is probably Rust Never Sleeps (see it in "rust o vision").
Best individual clips would include the infamous is Neil on coke outtake from the Last Waltz. My personal faves are a 1974 clip from the Midnight Special tv series-Neil in full hippy mode doing Like a Hurricane, and the MTV Unplugged clip from a few years ago of Neil doing Like a Hurricane on a 200 plus year old pipe organ. My #1 fave is Neil doing Imagine during the concert for 9-11.
For superfreak thrash stuff look for any Pearl Jam and Neil collaborations from european tours. (Pearl Jams hardest song is their cover of Fuc#ing Up.) |

"Let's roll" is a catchphrase that has been used extensively as a term to move and start an activity, attack, mission or project.

That's what initially got me into Neil. He appeared solo with "Imagine" and played organ with Eddie Vedder on "The Long Road." Then at the end of the show he came out jamming on his acoustic, which wasn't plugged in or amplified at the time. He was just rocking out in his own world.

| I saw him on a talk show, maybe letterman not too long ago. When asked what he's been up to he said he has just still been trying to write the song that will change the world. I thought that was very good response. |

It seem as if some people have hijacked this post and have tried to turn the topic.
These people are refered to as Sissy Trolls.
Sissy Troll: A person who tries to make a good topic die, by posting the lamest comments about a super lame singer.
I for one would just like to say we should all avoid these guys.
Mabey they will quit laming up all the post. |

A sissy troll is any troll. Why get on a message board and "ACT" like something your not in your everyday life. To everyone that trolls would you say the same things in front of your wife, kids or parents? A sissy troll gets on a mountain bike forum and doesn't ride. Ride doesn't mean you have a bike. It means that you actually pedal the thing. I sissy troll uses aggressive looking avatars to make them seem like they are some sort of "REBEL". A rebel goes against the grain to right a wrong, a troll just wants attention, "Look at me." Where is a post other than Off Topic at? Now after saying that hit me with your best rebuttal. I'm 39 married, I ride both road and mountain. I drive a truck, live in London, KY.
It's 7:50 pm I'm looking forward to your reply, Wallace.

It ain't no thing Creep. These boys can carry on all they want to. We've been down this road before, and I'm not in the mood to head that way again. Besides, I'm philosophically opposed to getting into ass kicking contests with one legged men. |
