Thanks everyone for a great day. Thanks for all the help. This race was really a group effort. Too many to thank but you know who you are. Hope everyone had as much fun as I did. I had a blast. results will be up soon.

WebGirl and I got out there to watch the start and the first lap. It was great to see a good turnout and super cool to have a mountain bike race in the middle of the park.
I agree that more fans would be fun. Anyone have ideas? I was looking at Dog Hill thinking it would make great "stadium seating" for an event like this. |

| If the start/finish would have been at frisbee field like it was planned I think more people would have been watching. It was pretty much out of sight in the location they had to put it. |

| that's the super-fan. he has been showing up to most KY races lately. Playing music on a boom box in the middle of the woods and cheering for riders. This time he had a grill and those burgers smelled good on lap four, I was about to stop being a vegetarian and pull over and have a burger with him. |

If anyone knows the status of the Ghostbuster kit dude that went down in the Beginner Class please keep us posted. Hopefully he's doing okay. Also, hope Superfan made it home okay. Would hate to find our he got a dui and wont be able to show at Waverly. |

| The rider who busted his face open was Patrick Burns, his sister Marge (she was working a road xing) drove him to Baptist East where he had some minor plastic surgery and is doing fine. R.J. got a pic on his cell phone that maybe he can post. He was pretty calm and collected after the crash. I was glad because I can't stand helping a crash victim who cries like a baby. |
