Capitol View is in serious need of weedeating, some chainsawing, and other maintenance. Main order of business will be to get the course cleaned up for the July 20 race, but there's plenty of other stuff that needs work, too. Since I will be out of town the weekend before the race, I'm organizing a trailwork day on July 5. Work will start at 2 p.m., followed by bike riding (if you want) and a cookout (more or less potluck) around 4 or 5 p.m. I'll bring charcoal, some stuff to grill, and condiments. You can bring whatever you like. Friddle will bring the bocce balls--so a good time is all but guaranteed.

Bocco Balls!!!! I'm not sure I want to attend now. Just joking, I'm sure a ball will be had by all (no pun intended). I might particiapate if I don't have to work that weekend.

With sat looking like a wet forcast, it should be a great time to get in good trail maint. I've got all the tools ready, plus a new chain for the saw(got a nice cut on the knee to prove that) Friddle

Hopefully if it's not to wet we can work on that soft reroute that avoids the whole first section, and runs parallel with the new parking lot. Friddle
