SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2008 OTTER CREEK PARK BRANDENBURG, KENTUCKY
The Otter Creek Challenge is an 8-hour adventure race that challenges soloists and teams of 2, 3 or 4 people to trek, mountain bike, paddle, rappel, navigate, and perform other feats of derring-do in their quest for the coveted "Golden Otter" award. The ROGAINE-style course ensures that veteran racers get as much as they can handle and that beginners don't bite off more than they can chew. If you clear the course, you'll have earned some bragging rights.
Your entry fee buys you a course designed and vetted by experienced adventure racers; high quality course maps; dinner on Friday night; post-race food; a wicking race t-shirt; and a load of great door prizes.
Register by August 13th and receive a discounted entry rate of just $55 per racer. After August 13th, registration will run you $75 per racer. Lodging is available in a group cabin for $15 per person per night (Friday and/or Saturday) and boats are available for rent for $20 (canoe or kayak).
