I am happy to announce that Tom Marlett and the crew at the Mountain Bike Depot will be hosting the Wild On Waverly race this year. Although new to hosting mtb races the fine folks at The MBD are excited to put on a great race and are ready to show their commitment to supporting local mountainbiking. Stop by the shop and show em you appreciate their involvment with the series and support their business. It's gonna be a good one.

I"ve been out there a few times and thrown some money their way. Seems like a nice group of guys, I'll get with them on helping setup the race when the time gets here. What race is Schellers going to be the main sponsor??? |

Rusty, you need to call Cory at Schellers, Waverly has been a Schellers thing for years... Good job. |

| Gene, I don't like to post the inner workings of the series on a public forum. But I can say that the offer was proposed to Scheller's with no response. Dulin checked in with Scheller's and it seemed as if they were spread too thin with the new locale etc. Time was running out so I offered it to MountainBike Depot to help out a new shop. Scheller's has their hand in almost every running/riding and touring event so I think it's fitting to give the new kid in town a chance to shine. |

There were alot of shops who were not "asked" to put on a race. the shops that are putting on races have stepped up and contacted me to host a race for the series. The information about the series has been public knowledge since September 07'. John if you wanted to host a race all you had to do is contact me. Same goes for Bicycle Sport, St. Matthews Schwinn, Dicks, Bluegrass cycles, The Bike Depot, Bardstown Rd bike shop, Dixie Cyclery, Outdoor Ventures and the list goes on. None of those shops contacted me either.

| Looks like the duffield race still does not have a sponsor, if a bike shop really wants to step up I am sure they will not be turned down. |

I believe Team Louisville is doing duffield. Do you still have the shop molnar? i thought that was a drew and derick production now, at least thats the impression they seem to have. |

Side 1. you come to my house and accuse me of starting a rumor about OYL closing. you said you heard it from Brad Goldberg. I say lets get Brad on the phone and confirm your story. but that didn't happen Side 2. Brad calls me up and apologizes for your actions and told me he never told you any such thing. that he told you somebody from cyclers said that OYL was closing. blah blah blah blah Now the truth: You falsely accuse me and never apologize. I could really care less what you think, but when you make innuendos, and false accusations about me on a public forum then we have a problem. |

| Two sides and the truth? So wouldn't that be 3 sides? Or does that mean both sides are liars and God is the truth? Or one right side, one wrong side and the dog who just sits, watches and listens so he knows the truth and the truth is cat turds are yummy. Thats it. I'm gonna have one now, hope the dog is right. |

Rusty said in his post that he wasn't sure of what bike shop had stepped forward to support the event, that to me sounds like there maybe still an opportunity for a bike shop to step forward, Rusty correct me if I am wrong.

| if theres a race that doesnt have a shop "sponsor" all that needs to be done is shoot rusty an email and work out the details. There are no shops not allowed to host a race. So if you feel like your shop of choice is left out give them a call and tell them to step up to the plate |
