  • Jason Garneret Regarding the Tour De Louisville registration: The Cat 4 and Cat 3 fields on the BikeReg page do not have options to register for 35 and 45 . At registration will we declare if we are racing 35 or 45 ? Every other race has had the option to pre-reg in your group (except the UCI races which are out of "our" control). I would think scoring would be easier if the 35 and 45 cats were split out for numbering and knowing who is racing where. Especially if we all go off together in those fields. It helps the racers too (having different numbers) to know if you are actually racing the guy you are trying to pass. Just a suggestion, I do not envy the scorers, the tech people, or the promoters jobs :) Everyone in teh OVCX does an outstanding job!

    • Steven WebsterJason, we're working on some suggestions from Mitch on the pre-reg. Thanks for pointing it out.

    • Jason GarneretNo worries Steven. Since I spent all of last year getting smoked by the 12 year olds in the open 4's I was stoked to learn that thanks to the wonders of CX math I get to race with the "old" guys this year. I need to take full advantage, lol!

    • Andy MesserWe're going to have the BikeReg registration page loaded with 2010 information up later this week, but the quick highlights are that we have moved the venue to give us more room so we're not sharing parking space wit the softball fields from last year. With that extra space we're expanding to races on both Saturday and Sunday. Details are being finalized but we're bringing in some local food vendors to really kick it up a notch.
For updates, you can follow us on Twitter - @BloomingCross We're also developing a BloomingCross fan page on Facebook.

As Mitch said, you can either call or swing by the shop if you have any questions.

  • Frank Troiano As a "cross" trainer from triathlon-I get a kick from cyclocross. At our race at Ft Ben, Indy Dec 4,2010, we are giving each rider a "St Mary's Angel". Check it out at dashboard angels on the web. Great colors. Trying to get a mount for your city bike for the angel to look cool. If not the angel can go on your dashboard, computer, metal counter. CAN'T WAIT FOR CROSS! frank troiano

    • ross mcnaryThere is another issue with the widest tire width rule change. By only allowing tires of 33mm wide they are eliminating people competing on Mtbs. I'm hoping this rule will probably be ignored for Juniors, but it's also kind of a barrier to people who want to just try it out.
