Sheltowee Extreme Adv Race/36 Hour

Stephanie has a new 36hr Adv Race along the Sheltowee this September. It's going to run from Cave Run to Red River Gorge. Out on the route two nights.

I need teamates. (Actually, I probably need counseling.) I honestly don't know if I can get through this, but it sounds like some fine suffering.

I need to check and make sure that this does'nt fall on the weekend of the tsali challenge too.

Anybody up for this????

That sounds pretty fun, is it running, biking, a combination? What are the dates?

Sheltoweextreme.com Bike/Boat/Run/Rappell/Navigate.

This would be alot easier (in my opinion) if it was a 36hr with one night out. It starts at 6:00 pm, so that catches two nights. That worries me. One of the worst experiences I ever had was a 12ht mtb race that started at midnight, and went untill noon. I usually get in bed by 11, and get up before six without an alarm. It's really hard for me to change my schedule/routine in the run up to this race. It's likely that I will arrive at the starting line already having been awake for 12 hours. That is a problem.

Still, it will be a damn hard thing. Aaron, Greg, and Kelly, do you guys think you can keep me awake for 36hrs?

If I survive the adv tri tomorrow, I'll try to ask John at Cave Run about this thing. Surely John won't race on his homecourt, because I think he would slaughter the field. His team thumped us bad enough at the Fig last year. I want his thoughts on how to approach this. It scares the hell out of me.
