Today marked the end of the 2009 OVCX series and the last call at River Road Country Club for Storm the Greens from the Papa Johns Racing Team.

All I can say is my hats off to all.  The series continues to impress and amaze and today's race was one of the best ever.  Bob and the Papa John's crew laid out a great course for RRCC's finale and the crowd made the most of it with beer hand ups (and one eggnog hand up - wha?) for a terrific day of racing, fun and madness in the freezing cold.

Truly CX at it's best with fans and racers each having as much fun as the other.  Thank you to all of the promoters, the racers, the fans and Mitch and Doug and the good folks at OVCX for making this such a great series.

BikeClicks.com is proud to be a sponsor and we're looking forward to next season already.

You guys missed some "snow cross" by 24 hours. Don't get me wrong...happy to have the sun out yesterday but the photo opps would have been pretty cool along with even more slipping and sliding.

FYI - report from the hotel in Bend, OR is that 6 inches of snow was dumped there yesterday. Temperatures are sub freezing until around Thursday/Friday.

Look for some spectacular pictures to come out of this week.
